I’ve been working lately on some anaglyphs for my editorial project at uni. I didn’t have idea 4 months ago about what an anaglyph was but now I’m becoming a kind of expert (modesty has never been my thing, you know :-)) and that is one of the things about graphic design that I like most. The opportunity it gives you to learn about different fields that in other way you would never have heard of. Anaglyph if you aren’t familiar with the concept is that stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by means of encoding each eye’s image using filters of different colors, typically red and cyan, so you have to use special glasses to see the image properly. I’ve developed a series of 9 so far, but I find the process and overall, the result so interesting, that probably I will come back to them more in the future. Now, put your 3D glasses on and enjoy!
